The 6th International Tattoo Convention opened on December 6 Friday in Berlin.
84 tattoo artists from 25 nations presented the newest techniques and instruments to make human bodies colorful.
It was a perfect opportunity for tattoo enthusiasts to exchange ideas, keep up with new techniques and compare their works of art.
The Berlin tattoo convention sees tattoo lovers from all over Europe and beyond meet up to compare and contrast tattoos.
84 tattoo artists from 25 nations are participating at the event.
"For the 6th Tattoo Convention Berlin 1996 we had a hundred policemen in full combat orientation visiting the doctor because of a medical emergency, because allegedly the Tattoo Convention was a very dangerous event with only criminals and rockers.
At this event we introduced the fire for the first time. Gery Simson from England came with all his equipment, his stand looked like a metal workshop with all the metal stamps and plates.
Since the press was crazy to see someone from Gerry burning us, but no one found, Frank put himself on stage and let himself be burned by Gerry 4 letters into his skin. He said afterwards, if he had known how much the pain was, he would never have volunteered.
